Speaking of polyamory, it appears I will not be risking driving up to Baltimore this evening to meet up with alt.polycon attendees. =( (Actually, if I left *right now*, I might possibly be there in time for the dinner, but having caught a glimpse of traffic outside, I wouldn't swear to it.)

Heh, this is the evening I would've been flying to San Jose if I'd been sent to the annual meeting this year. Two of my coworkers are supposed to go out at 5 tonight; I'm thinking probably not. K. always jokes that her going to the annual meeting brings snow and/or ice to DC, and in the three years I've been there, she hasn't been wrong yet. =)
