I think we've already determined that I adore getting postcards myself. (Anyone who feels inclined to send me one from their wanderings, please feel free.) I also love looking through old postcards; here are a few I picked up at the DC Big Flea a couple of weekends ago. (Thumbnails linked to larger versions.)

Cool! The silhouette of the castle in the background looks very like what I dimly recall of Inverness from my short trip there in '85. The cold, sleety rain over dark buildings reminds me of a godd bit of my travels in Scotland in 2002. My disturbed (and disturbing) emotional state may be judged from teh fact that the dark rainy days just make me love the country more.
