Sort of along the lines of recent memeage I've seen floating around, but I'm too lazy at the moment to go look up the exact wording.

Is there anything you're just dying to ask me/want to know about me? Feel free to ask in the next couple of days, and I'll do my best to answer.

My question for myself is "How did I utterly fail to notice that GMail supports POP access now?"

[And an unrelated update on shipping stuff: CD swap stuff went out earlier in the week, most of y'all should be getting it 'round about now. One more CD will be forthcoming as well, being sent separately. A package for tshuma and the one with the bat wings will go out tonight, assuming I can get to the post office on time; if not, they'll go from work tomorrow. ]

I even managed to get everything into a single padded mailer, which I didn't think I was going to. I missed the post office tonight, so I'll drop it off in the morning and you should probably see it early next week.

As far as what I do, I'm the webmaster for a non-profit organization. (I try not to be too specific about my workplace in LJ, thus the hand-waving sort of vague answer there.) Mostly that involves publishing new data, a bit of tech support, far too much time on the phone as part of my editorial duties, and the standard HTML and backend perl/PHP scripting stuff.

That's a good question, actually. Usually if I've got Trillian up, I'm in a mood to be social; if I don't want to chat, I just won't turn it on. As far as other times, I'm not sure I can peg any particular signs, as it's so entirely mood-dependent. Being in a blue mood doesn't necessarily mean that I want to disengage, nor that I want to connect; it's not at all consistent. I suppose all I can say is "try it and see". =) You lose no points for trying if I can't even manage to give you a reasonable set of clues.

FYI: CDs arrived, and I'm thoroughly enjoying them. What a good idea of yours this was.

Can't actually get kytynpet's to play properly - it gives my CDRom drive fits - plus it seems to have about twice as much music on it as would make sense on a 74-minute disc, so I'm thinking she overloaded it somehow.

Do you by chance have a tracklist for auroraborealis's disc?

You rock for doing this. Just so you know.

I ended up having to copy the tracks off of that CD onto my hard drive because I couldn't hear the music over the noise of my drive. It seems to be a data disc rather than a music disc, and a lot of the tracks need RealPlayer to listen to.

I don't have a track listing for aroraborealis' disc offhand, but I did get titles when I played it in iTunes. If she doesn't post it, I'll copy it when I have the CD at hand next.

Figured out this afternoon I could do that same thing w/kytynpet's disc, and am now much happier.

No rush on the track listing - just curious. I'll try it in Napster, too, just in case.
