rivka, I assume you've seen this latest instance of Maryland Comptroller Schaefer spouting off with something unbelievable, in which he claims that AIDS patients "brought it on themselves"?

Yeah, I saw the context too. He's quite the piece of work, as an understatement. One good thing about those "Schaefer: He Says What You Think" bumper stickers that his aides were apparently giving out at some point is that it makes it that much easier to evade people who actually think he's got valid points.
