note to self
Things I need to do this week:
- I will do one chapter's worth of homework assigments every night this week so that I can catch up. I will be caught up by the end of the week and just need to go take the exams.
- Write more of the snapshots, dwelling on better-adjusted periods of time.
- Find the supposed Persian bakery/grocery in Sterling (or try Grand Mart first, since it's closer) in hopes of buying rosewater so that I can make saffron rosewater ice cream later this week.
- Remember to soak the chick peas so I can make chana masala sometime this week.
- Make doctor's appointment for myself and vet appointment for the cat. Do not confuse the two.
- Make sure everything's switched over to gmail and then ditch the Radix account.
- Go buy new running shoes.
- Bring in too-small clothes for coworker to look through, take others to Goodwill during lunch.
- Make sure check for notecards goes in the mail rather than remaining on the counter here "where I won't forget to mail it". *cough*
- Don't panic.

And post the results, of course. ;-)
Mmmm... chana masala.

Well, I'll certainly post my review of the results; until they implement DTP (Dessert Transfer Protocol), you'll have to settle.

I'm looking forward to reading those.
Don't Panic.
Maybe we could not panic together?

I'm honestly surprised so many people seem to have slogged through those; guess seeing "TMI" causes people to compulsively click. ;)
And it looks like the Arisia corset picture has been viewed twice as often as anything else there; my friends are so predictable. *grin*
No panic for you, either.

Homemade chana masala? Is this food porn or what?
I'd like to figure out what that red-orange sauce is that I sometimes see in Indian chicken dishes. It's rich and creamy, not super hot, and just delectable. Perhaps a type of korma?

Only in the sense that I'm not having someone deliver it. ;) I'm using a pre-made spice mixture, so the level of effort involved should be relatively low.
