Today is Prickle-Prickle, day 18 in the season of Confusion, 3270.

For folks headed down to the Pride street festival, I'll probably get there around 3:45-4:00. (I got peopled out last year, trying for a more reasonable timeframe this year. Plus, Melissa Ferrick doesn't go on til 5 and Sophie closes at 5:50 or so.) Look for a chick with chin-length dark red hair, black tshirt and skirt and 20i docs with burgundy laces. That should narrow it down quite a lot. ;) I've also got my cell phone with me, which probably will help more than the description. ;)

Yep. Between not wanting to dye the amount of hair I had plus being really tired of having to allow ten minutes of combing in the shower to get the knots out after sleeping on it, I got my hair chopped off this morning. The hairdresser asked me four times if I was really sure I wanted to cut that much off. =)

I shall see what I can do. Probably after some more cleanup, since fresh Special Effects + sweat = need to buy more astringent to clean up the skin. ;)

Yes, it is. I used Blood Red over unbleached hair rather than Nuclear Red over bleached blonde hair.

And take my cow-orkers' words for it too; they all think it's great. *grin*

Could I have one of the shorn locks?

I didn't keep any, so no. I didn't get quite enough cut off to donate to Locks of Love, so no reason to keep it.

Melissa Ferrick is superb. I saw her at the social in orlando.

Although I was probably the only straight person in the joint. One asked me about my preference and then acted weirded out that I was straight.

my reply: you don't have to be gay to love ferricks music.

I'm sure the burgundy laces helped a lot... nice touch!
