Inspired by a conversation elsejournal, I decided to create a new icon for those times when someone just really needs a good, hard kick in the shins to possibly impart Clue[tm]. Behold, the Pointy-toed Boots of Reason:

I've noticed I have a disproportionately high percentage of icons which relate to being cranky, make of that what you will.

Call me crazy, but I thought "oh a gothfashion icon" not a kick in the shins.

True, this is one of those icons that can do double duty. =) Would've been more obvious if I could persuade C. to let me take a picture of me kicking him in the shins with them, but for some reason that idea didn't go over too well. Go figure. =)

How's the cough? Manage to get any rest?

You don't actually have to hurt him, unless he likes that sort of thing.

Cough's still here. I'm drained-I slept from about five or six am til noon, woke up, did stuff, napped, woke up, did stuff, napped, woke up, ate, napped, woke up, called Mom, took drugs and am waiting til they kick in. Being vertical is easier on the lungs, but harder on the sleep. Going to go back to work tomorrow at least for part of the day, but really would much rather stay home and sleep. (Need to do paperwork/reports tomorrow so they can all be completed on 1/5 when people come back.)

I just wish I could get some sleep.

I LUST after these boots. I have been searching for a pair for ages...Oh DROOL...

It looks like Pennangalan has what I'm sure is a much higher quality version, which is going on my "want!" list straightaway. =)
