son of crush groovin'

Did I even participate in this "secret crush" meme? I honestly don't remember, but I don't think I did. At any rate, I was curious enough to go take a peek.

3 people have a Secret Crush on geekchick.
4 people have a Public Crush on geekchick.
0 people have an Ex-Crush on geekchick.

Hm. I think this guy is a complete dick for selling the information (Gotta love "Hell, fer four bux, I'll tell you who has crushes on any name you type in!" *ptui*), and there's no way that I am going to reward that sort of unethical behavior with cash, sorry. That said, if you happen to be one of those folks who claim to have a crush on me, sure you don't want to drop me an email and tell me? *grin*

The whole idea of selling the names - I'm with you; what a dick.

Euwww... that's creepy. So much for confidentiality, although at least this guy is open about selling your information (unlike many sites and companies...).

And I'd happily confess to a crush on you, if I'd used that service :-).

And I like the new peacock icon, BTW...

Never even heard about this thing until this morning, so I guess I'm not one of the list.. but I think I've always been pretty open about my feelings on this particular subject, anyhow. ;)

I didn't do that meme, cause I didn't trust the info would stay secret, but I would have put you down as a crush. Don't think it would qualify as a secret one.

Same thing, I got bored and checked it out...blah only 2 secret crushes.

I was hopefully that maybe I would finally have a date....then $4 came into play and my life fell apart.

Or something like that.

I've collected data, done the research and have determined that your LJ is popular. For $2 I will give you a list of all those on your friends list.

I wish that confidentiality of data were the norm rather than the exception

I guess it wouldn't have occurred to me to participate in this sort of thing because I would have assumed that the data would not be confidential even before I read the policies related to it. The fact that I've become cynical enough about privacy policies to not even bother to read them in most cases before declining to provide data might be a successful adaptation to the way the world works, but I'd much rather not have to need to.

Did you notice...

Happen to notice that he started up the system again? At first he said he would stop, now he is doing it again.

When I first saw it, my thought was "no way, I so see that going public".

I looked at it again and started to fill it out. What got me though was the "now how do I define a crush"... sure, someone might look cute, but that is hardly a crush...
