Today is Boomtime, day 71 in the season of Confusion, 3269.

There are thunderstorms coming in from the west, and that's making me much less inclined at the moment to just break down and cry for a while. I love thunderstorms, and could never live someplace that doesn't have them frequently.

Time to go tie down the stuff on the balcony and watch the lightening for a while.

*hugs* I love thunderstorms as long as they aren't right overhead. :-)

I don't know about where [livejournal.com profile] geekchick was, but the lightning was amazing. I was driving through the storm and had nearly nonstop lightning the entire way home.

(envy) I love thunderstorms. They happen infrequently here, and so terrify the kids upon their appearance. But I miss the intensity, the dangerous edge, the tingle, the rumble, the smell afterwards...

Yay thunderstorms!

I feel energized after a thunderstorm. Especially if I've been outside, feeling the wind and rumble. There's only one other thing that energizes me like that, and it's in short supply these days.
