While I was waiting to get confirmation that the dates for my planned visit were okay, the price went up overnight...from $257 to $686.

and try again. Airfares bounce up and down stochastically. I've been watching this as I plan my Vegas trip.

*nod* Thursday would be the 21-day cutoff, so I suppose it could drop back down before then. I think I'm taking the frequent flyer miles offered instead, which will free me up to pay for the hotels and rental car. Go, me. =)

Yeah, I find fares seem to be worst Friday-Monday, so have a look 'round tomorrow evening.

Current plan is to head to Vegas around September 9, hang there a couple of days, then visit my sweetie's 'rents in AZ.
