Today is Setting Orange, day 38 in the season of The Aftermath, 3268.

Just this morning, I was thinking on my way to work about the fact that I hadn't gotten a response from someone yet to an email I sent a couple of weeks ago, and wondering if I should just take that to be some sort of sign. Late this afternoon, I got an email from that person in response.

Tomorrow morning on my way to work, I'm going to think about winning the lottery and being able to retire to my own island with my loved ones. ;)

Of course! If I'm going to buy my own island, I'm certainly going to make sure there's room for all kinds of cool people to come hang out. =)

Not being a big believer in signs myself, I prefer to present weak inferences to the person about whom I'm making them. That seems to lead to much more reliable crystan ball gazing.

Since the inference I was making was that said person was not interested in communicating with me further, presenting them with that inference might've been a wee bit difficult. =)
