See icon. Sheesh. Wish I'd thought to take the ark out for dinner tonight instead of the Mazda. The blinding rain and flooded road made for a spectacular end to an otherwise very entertaining evening in which I did not get a house but I did get dinner and some drinks. Not as spectacular as it could've been if I'd been paying less attention, granted, but still more excitement than I wanted to have on the drive home.

Now I just have to hope it dries out over the weekend a bit, othewise the lawn tickets at Merriweather for Leonard Cohen are going to be a whole lot of fun.

Things I'm pondering right now:

1) Why didn't I take a picture today for a [livejournal.com profile] fatshionista OOTD post? I think I looked kinda cute, and there'd be the bonus "picture of a Faith 21 item". (Let me just say that as low-cut as it appears on the model, it's even more so on short little me. A cami is not an option, it's a requirement.) Also, leggings or footless tights with a dress appears to be an exception to my "if you wore it the first time around, there's a good chance you're too old to wear it the second time around" rule. With neon pink and green items though, I'm sticking firmly to that rule. Did that in 198*mumble*, don't need to do that again.

2) When and why did McAfee remove the ability to export log files as plain text? So far as I can tell, you just can't do it anymore. Man, sure would be nice if we had some grenades log export ability when I need to send firewall logs to someone else.

3) Damn, whatever is playing on C.'s laptop right now is random enough to make even [livejournal.com profile] also_huey's bar jukebox hijinks seem like a masterpiece of deliberate programming.

4) Most importantly, why am I still awake at 3 AM on a school night?

Run Runaway

I've been thinking about this for a while, and now that the weather's starting to warm up and there's some actual sunlight left when I get home in the evenings (most nights), I think I'm going to attempt the Couch-to-5K program. High school gym class put me off running in a huge way, but I might be able to do this. Would be nice to get back into some sort of decent physical shape again. Things I need to check into: whether my existing shoes will be sufficient for running (I really do not want to spend a bunch of money on new running shoes if I don't have to), and a really good sports bra.
