If I'd been smarter, I'd have put the bird feeder closer to the house so that I could refill it more easily. (That's your average roughly 3' deck railing.) Watching the juncos try to eat out of a tube feeder is kind of entertaining.

Edit: 23" measured just now on our deck.

My adorable little tweety birds can't find the suet feeder I put out for them. It's completely buried under at least a food of snow. I suspect the squirrels are tunneling.
