Hm. I said in an earlier entry something about salaries in Memphis being correspondingly lower along with the cost of living. But check this:
this report says the median base salary is a bit under $4000/year less in Horn Lake than it is in DC, as of August 2001. Of course that implies that there actually are any webmaster jobs around there; monster doesn't show any in the last several months.

Yeah, this is all totally theoretical. C. would absolutely never agree to live there, since it is definitely easier for him to find work in this area. And I don't know why I keep thinking about this anyway. I'm sure I'll snap out of it after I go spend a weekend with my family. =)
