Trying to get a rough idea of flights to/from New Orleans in November. Is it just me, or is it completely impossible to get a flight from New Orleans to DC (IAD, DCA, or even BWI) on a Thursday night after around 6:30 PM? Unless I skip out entirely on the last conference session of the day, it seems that I'm not going to be able to get out of there on Thursday night. (While yes, an extra day might normally be a good thing, in this case it's not particularly.)

It's not just you, service to NO is still way below pre-Katrina levels. Although have you checked Southwest into BWI?

Last flight out on Southwest to either BWI or IAD is at 4:25. For that, I might as well not even stay for the Thursday sessions and leave on Wednesday afternoon.
