When I was looking to get my D70s I came across one that had the IR mod done to it. At $800 I gave it serious thought.

Now I have the D70s my old HP720 I think will be getting the toyIR treatment.

After pricing nice glass IR filters for my old Coolpix 950, I realized it was only a few more dollars to have someone else install it for me, so I did. Tee hee.

that tree reminds me of a picture I took at Niagra Falls.. same thing.. it was frozen under a layer of ice.. it was gorgeous!

You can get quite nice IR looking effects using the Color Mixing controls in Photoshop. I'll send you a couple of pictures.
