Mine's a different fabric, it's a black silk brocade, but the same style. I made the mistake of letting him lace me in to one, and it was all downhill from there. =)
I hadn't really wanted to buy a corset in my current size. (I have to say though that if his disbelief that I needed a size as large as I told him was faked, he's a pretty good actor. ;) ) None of my others will be wearable by Arisia though, I have too many inches to lose to fit back into them.
I was really aiming for 22", but that's downright unfeasible. I'd promised myself I wouldn't buy larger than 26", so I'm psyched that I'm so close to there. It's unbelievable.
That's precisely how I ended up with the corset I wore at Halloween. I don't know why I thought "oh, I'll just try it on for fun" wouldn't turn into a purchase.

Of course you do realize that I've worked my way up to second in command of Security for Arisia so chances are I will have to search you..(repeatedly), just to make sure you're not smuggling any midgets.
I'm pretty sure I knew as soon as I said "sure, lace me in" that I was going to buy it, I don't even know why I tried to pretend otherwise. Heh. And handily I ran into a friend who knew the right answer to "should I get it?" ;)
Indeed. nminusone are planning to be there. No, I'm not dying to work registration, although I suppose if the shifts are reasonably short I might be persuaded with some effort. ;)
