I quit in the middle of the fourth book. I have the hate on for Robert Jordan so bad....
I wanted to quit 50 pages into the first book, but I had two people begging me to keep going. Finally SOMETHING HAPPENED a hundred or so pages in, and I kept waiting for the wonderful that my friends said was there. Until I got halfway through the fourth and bet myself I could accurate predict the ending.
I won. I pitched the book across the room and never picked another one up again.
