Autodesk obviously has capabilities I wasn't aware of
If none of these options works, turn off Today. Then try turning on Today at a later date to see if your problem has been fixed.

We used to get this awesome error message in our timesheet program that Time was not responding and would not be available until restart.

If Today isn't working, just skip it:
Today = Tomorrow;
( Today++; is also acceptable style.)
Likewise if something is dull:
Now = Later;
Of course getting an account on the system where this code actually *does* what it implies is a bit tricky...

I've had many Today's that I would have liked to turn off. (Or put through a Delete Until loop.)
Other Today's, I wish that I could put on infinite loop.

Oh, I think turning off Today and restarting would be a lovely idea.
