Bummer. Same thing happened to me when I tried acceptable variations of pdx42 or SeanT. They are both only five characters, and I wound up deciding that gmail is simply not for me.

spookygrrlfriend is also good (though I'm sorry to say inapplicable with me), but I know the personal significance of being able to hold onto a good handle on the Internet. I gave up on having a gmail account because they have a 6-character minimum and dots don't count.
