Note to self for future cooking projects: when making whipped sweet potatoes with brown sugar topping, make sure that there's no chance of accidentally putting your finger in molten brown sugar. That's bad.
That's totally something I would do (in fact, I burnt the tip of my right index finger today) ... but hot sugar is really the worst ... (well, except for the time when I burnt my arm directly on the heating element in the oven ... yowch!)
Anyway (hugs) where you're not burned ... hope it's feeling better real soon, or already!
The best part is that not long after I finally got it to stop feeling quite so raw, I accidentally touched the oven rack with that same finger. I shoulda stayed out of the kitchen today, obviously. ;)
