Today's scary project: suck all of my mp3 files into winamp...and hit "shuffle".
Current most brain-bending combination so far was:

1) Stun Gun's cover of "The Ghost in You" from "New Wave Goes to Hell"
2) Silverchair's cover of The Clash's "London's Burning"
3) Oysterband - "The Old Triangle" (a cappella English folk song in 4-part harmony)
4) Emma Shapplin - "Spente le Stelle" (techno opera, think "Fifth Element")
5) Liz Phair's version of The Banana Splits theme song
6) Orb - "Toxygene"
7) Icehouse - "No Promises"
8) Boiled in Lead - "Fück the Circus"

At this point my brain broke and I had to go away for awhile. And as a friend pointed out, I really only have myself to blame. =)

Thank you!

GC- Thanks! I had only heard of some of the music you mentioned, but hey- I like having my brain bent as much as the next girl, so I checked out some of the other artists from your list, and Wow! Emma Shapplin rocks my world!

Thanks again-
