Avast (and other silly exclamations)! Local folks!

I got the discount ticket flyer in the mail today for the Maryland Renaissance Festival. Not that I myself can realistically plan this far in advance, but it seems that September 25-26 is "Pirate Invasion Weekend". Just so's ya know.

October 16-17 is "Shakespeare Weekend", including a marathon reading of all the sonnets.

No, I don't mean that at all. Heck, they've got a quote from someone in from England, so I think Indy might almost count as local in that scale. ;)

I noticed that the discount tickets are only for the first three weekends though, and I'm all about skipping the "Singles Weekend".

And I agree. "Singles Weekend" = No.
