I finally got Napster working on my computer (it would previously install and then crash in a horrible manner when I tried to actually start the program) and it's rockin' my world. I've been grabbing a ton of Icehouse mp3s. I *heart* Icehouse, I have most of their catalog on tape and I'd love to replace them with CDs at some point. A scan of CDNOW shows that to be a pricey proposition however. Oy.

There's "Electric Blue" and "Crazy", which both got a lot of airplay more than a decade ago. ;) (Oooh, it hurts to say that.) My personal favorites are "No Promises" (the original, although the dance mix isn't bad either) and "Touch the Fire". And there's "Great Southern Land", which was prominently featured in that fine piece of film history "Young Einstein". ;) (I admit it, I liked that movie, and what the heck ever happened to Yahoo Serious anyway?) I need to dig out my tapes that are still packed from the last move and refresh my memory on some of the other tracks, or at least wait until the two CDs that I ordered show up next week. =)
