Sick. =( Allergies are kicking my ass this weekend; all I want to do is sleep and have someone remove my sinuses with power tools. Vitamins aren't helping, and Claritin isn't helping either. Wouldn't you think that with yesterday's torrential thunderstorms perhaps some of the pollen might've been washed out of the air? Apparently not enough. I haven't spent much time online this weekend at all since I've been running around with C. or else almost passed out at home from being so worn down. I hope I can manage to feel human before we leave to go see Margaret Cho tonight.

Thanks for the recipe, I'll have to try it sometime. I've started taking a mixture of 1/3 tsp n-acetyl cystein (an antioxidant which is supposed to help lung function, and I hope I spelled that right), 1 heaping tsp glutamine, and 1 tbsp of xylitol (a sweetener which supposedly can help prevent things like gum and sinus infections and as a bonus helps mask the tartness of the n-acetyl cystein) mixed into a glass of water at C.'s recommendation and it is actually doing me a lot of good. Between that and multiple hot showers to rinse out my itchy eyes and clear my head, I felt almost human for a while yesterday. Today, I'm keeping my office door closed and the air filter cranked up on high.

I hope your sinus and throat problems clear up soon. It's no good to be feeling under the weather at any time, but especially not when getting ready to move.
