I love this post so much I can't begin to describe it.

I've spent today sharing some fabulous pumpkin bread and truffles with my coworkers, thanks to the lovely and talented

patgreene who sent me much yumminess for Christmas. Thank you sweetie. =) I've also had a chance to reconnect with someone who was contributing somewhat to my rather bleak mood the other night and gotten lots of reassurance and in-person time, and things are good again. Lots of easy, comfortable conversation, just what I needed. Tonight I'll cut out of work on time and try to find the present I want for my coworker who won't be in next week; wish me luck in not killing anyone in the maul. Afterwards, I will give C. space to wrap my presents and I will answer some of the email I've had since before Thanksgiving waiting for me to get motivated to answer it.
