all the cuteness you can stand

(That's listed on the sign outside Gymboree as one of the reasons you should come in and apply to work there.)

And there was indeed all the cuteness I could stand - we went to the mall tonight without realizing that they were hosting trick or treating. We also went early enough that all of the youngest kids were out in full force. *squee* Little tykes barely able to walk by themselves in adorable fuzzy costumes. There were also a few "I can't believe you let your kid wear that" moments, namely the 6 year old in a devil costume which consisted mainly of a skin-tight, belly-baring red sequinned halter top and the requisite skin-tight red pants, and the girl who looked to be maybe 8 or 9 dressed as a policewoman in the hat, extremely short dress, handcuffs on the belt, and tall boots. Um...okay. I like that look on adult women, not so much on pre-teens. God, I feel like I'm turning into my parents, bitching about "kids these days"...
I think I'm going to go counteract that with a nice dose of "Evil Dead".

Heh. Pam and I had dinner in Bennigans last night. Didn't see you though. Also missed the 9 year old dressing like she is going to BR. I can stand missing that one.

Curse you! I followed the link to the tiny child in the ladybug costume and was paralyzed by the cuteness. So. Insanely. Adorable.

Darn it, now you've got me thinking of BYE, BYE BIRDIE.

"Why can't they be like we were, perfect in every way...
what's the matter with kids today?"
