The Constitution? TL; DR

The House has really been on a roll this week. I heard mention of this on NPR, but not much from other news sources. Wonder why that might be?

Veterans' Memorials, Boy Scouts, Public Seals, and Other Public Expressions of Religion Protection Act of 2006 (Engrossed as Agreed to or Passed by House) [H.R.2679.EH]

The Public Expression of Religion Act - H.R. 2679 - provides that attorneys who successfully challenge government actions as violating the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment shall not be entitled to recover attorneys fees. The bill has only one purpose: to prevent suits challenging unconstitutional government actions advancing religion.

Well, John Hostettler (R-IN) has done one good thing here -- he got me to write a check to the ACLU.
