I love this strip (I think I found a reference to it long ago in [livejournal.com profile] polyamory).

Speaking of poly, I'm getting a chuckle out of literally half my partners today telling me they thought I should date a local woman. Not one in particular, although they'd introduce me if they knew anyone, just in general. Heh.

I am once again really, really behind in my PHP class. So over the course of this week I need to:

1. Finish up the adding random stuff to an array and then writing it all into a database exercise
2. Get a directory search to output XML rather than HTML (which at least shouldn't be too difficult) - finished, woohoo!
3. Read in, parse and display an RSS headlines feed
4. Not freak out at any potential math involved in the graphics exercises
5. While getting the homework done, I also need to be devoting at a minimum two hours a day to jobhunting.

I've discovered much to my chagrin that I completely forget anything I've just learned in this class if I don't continue practicing it on a regular basis. Oof.

Ugh. An ABC News producer brought their baby to work last month, and now the kid has anthrax. *shudder*

Of course something like this:

Ninety offices of Planned Parenthood and at least 80 clinics of the National Abortion Federation across the United States have received envelopes containing unidentified powdery substances and letters with threatening language, according to spokesmen for the groups. Both groups support abortion rights and provide abortions in at least some of their offices.

makes me think more of the domestic variety of wing-nut than of foreign terrorists. I can all too easily see some of our own home-grown crackpots of various flavors taking advantage of the anthrax scare. Unibomber wannabes and all that.
