It's offical. This stupid shopping cart thing is driving me loopy. Of course, I don't feel too bad yet, as it's now a week-plus overdue and of the 15-20 people in the class, exactly two people have finished and posted the assignment.

Maybe I should take a break and do last week's reading for my XML class; at least that one I'm only a week behind in. I think instead though I'm going to grab my little blue stuffed dragon and curl up in bed.

I'm watching my web server get pounded by the fine folks at Network Application Services. Rather, by their 8 (no, wait, it's up to 10 I think now) infected machines.

Hm. Busy day:

I think a little bit of retail therapy is in order. I can both soothe my hurt feelings and do my part to keep the American economy going all at once. (See Cathy. See Cathy rationalize. Rationalize, Cathy, rationalize!) Sometimes having a Target and a Cost Plus literally across the street isn't such a bad thing, especially when cute Halloween things abound.

I unsubscribed from cl*st*rf**k today. I hadn't really been reading it in a while, and it's rare that I can partake in any of the social events, being the lone DC outpost of the list. I could do with less email anyway.

I've gotten two copies of a spam now with the subject line "boner supplies". Upon examination, it turned out to be toner cartridges. I don't know if it was some Freudian slip typo or if it was intentional. Either way, it worked; if it had said toner supplies I'd have deleted it unread, but as it was I had to open it the first time I got it just to see what the hell they were selling.

Time to put up my new purple light string and then go to bed.
