(no subject)

Today I have:

• walked out of the house without leaving the Staples delivery authorization note so they'd leave my bookcases (BTW, Staples.com is selling the Situations bookshelves for 50% off; the 72" shelves are $24.99. Unfortunately, I found that if you buy two of them, that leaves you $0.02 away from free delivery. :-P So I got two bookshelves and a bag of rubber bands.)
  
• and without taking the temporary proof of auto insurance for my new policy effective today
  
• and without taking my car registration paperwork to put back in my car
  
• AND without my wallet, containing my driver's license
  
• nearly been driven into three separate times in my 20 mile commute (which of course wouldn't happen if I'd had all my paperwork with me)
  
• confirmed that the rent checks we mailed more than a week ago have been lost in the mail
  
• and some other stuff that merits a separate post
  

I swear, the older I get, the less I seem capable of remembering.

*sigh* Guess I'm taking my lunch hour now to run home and get my wallet and write a new rent check.
