I mean, our ancestors struggled for millennia -- hell, plenty of people around the globe are STILL struggling to get to a place technologically and socially where there is no reason that they would ever have to get up in the morning and discover that the first thing they were going to have to do was run like hell for several miles in the awful heat.

I see these people out running, apparently voluntarily, in weather that makes me want to cry. And I want to yell at these people. HONOR THE SACRIFICES OF YOUR ANCESTORS, YOU MORONS! GO INSIDE! HAVE A COOL DRINK! IF YOU MUST EXERCISE IN THIS APPALLING WEATHER, GO SWIMMING LIKE GOD INTENDED!
