today's just been exciting in all kinds of ways, few of them good.

And this is the latest of them:

... Tornado Warning continues for Fauquier County until 300 PM EDT... 

At 239 PM EDT... radar indicated a tornadic thunderstorm over
Warrenton... moving north at 30 mph.

Delaplane... the plains and Warrenton are near the path of this
dangerous storm.

This is a very dangerous storm... a tornado is on the ground! If you
are near its path go to a safe place now! If no underground shelter
is available take cover on the lowest floor in an interior room and
away from windows. Mobile homes and vehicles should be abandoned for
more substantial shelter.

[Edit: If I thought we were in any real danger here, I'd not be wasting time posting to LJ instead of finding an interior office. ;)]
